Our National Food and Beverage Manager, alongside a dedicated team, has been continuously enhancing processes and systems at OMARA to elevate the variety, quality, and nutritional value of meals served to our residents each day. This journey is ongoing, with many exciting developments planned for the future.<\/p>

At OMARA, all meals are freshly prepared on-site by qualified chefs\u2014many of whom have completed the Maggie Beer Foundation\u2019s training programs, with additional sessions scheduled to further refine their expertise.<\/p>

Our menus are updated seasonally and undergo thorough review by nutritionists and dietitians to ensure they provide well-balanced and nourishing options. We also take into account the unique cultural backgrounds of our residents, tailoring menus to reflect their preferences and expectations.<\/p>

Additionally, we have partnered with PureFood Co to supply premium texture-modified meals for residents who require them. This allows our on-site chefs to dedicate more time to engaging with residents, understanding their tastes, and enhancing their overall dining experience.<\/p>

David, Support Manager for Catering Services, shares an update on the Simple Meals Ordering System\u2014an initiative created to provide residents with greater independence and variety in their dining experience. This system includes easy-to-use features such as Simple Food Safety, Simple TV ordering, and a Simple Room Service module, all aimed at streamlining how residents choose and enjoy their meals.<\/p>
